history of providing for the community and have an integral role in
helping gardeners of all experience levels. We strive to provide a
comfortable, flexible work schedule and do our best to have our
employees feel valued and appreciated. As a sales associate, your
jobs and responsibilities are to help customers while shopping for
garden center Items. Maintaining a clean and efficient retail
space, while providing attention and care to various plants and
garden center items. This position must have a high level of
attention to detail and be a self-starter. Employee discounts
across other Soergel's departments included (market, naturally
soergels, gift barn) Job Responsibilities include but are not
limited to: Teamwork with fellow coworkers on various projects
Organizational skills with inventory Pricing and product display
for incoming products and shipments Maintenance and facility upkeep
Helping Customers with questions and cashiering Troubleshooting and
problem solving point of sale system Watering Plant care Facility
cleanliness - Cleaning, sweeping, trash etc. Transplanting and
helping with production when needed Safe operation of company
trucks/forklift Use of PPE when using machinery and equipment
Flexibility in working interdepartmentally Positive attitude
Problem solving, critical thinking and time management Flexibility
and the ability to work extra hours/days when needed Ability to
lift 50 lbs On time and dependable with scheduled shifts Part time
seasonal (March - June) *Pay dependent on experience Powered by
