Job Description:
A company is looking for a Life Insurance Underwriter in a
hybrid or remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the success and profitability of the agency by
working with various teams and advisors on underwriting
challenges
Summarize medical records, review underwriting manuals, and develop
action plans to secure desired results
Stay informed of carrier underwriting strengths, consult with
advisors on underwriting offers, and actively participate in
education and cycle time analysis
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of life underwriting insurance experience
Leadership and team participation skills
Analytical skills for data gathering and analysis
Strong business knowledge and ability to develop relationships with
clients and industry organizations
Ability to plan and prioritize projects effectively
