TOPS Staffing is currently looking to hire an experienced welder for a direct hire opportunity with a client in Cheswick, PA. This position will involve welding in house at our client's facility. No travel involved in this opportunity, work in the same shop every day and be home every night. The position will require welding up to ASME standards, performing mainly Arc welding on stainless and Carbon steel. Job Details: Direct hire opportunity Starting pay rate based on experience but can be up to $24per hour. Steady daylight shift Hours: 6:30am to 3pm schedule Monday to Friday + OT on occasional Saturday. Some overtime is available in this position, may include weekend work when needed Duties/Responsibilities: Familiar with ASME welding codes Must be proficient in Arc welding on various metals. Ability to work independently client has multiple welding bays and typically you are assigned a project and perform all of the welding needed on assigned project. Education and Experience : High school diploma or GED equivalent Familiar with ASME welding codes 2+years of welding experience preferred Overhead crane operation experience is preferred but not required Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods standing Bend, crawl, kneel to preform welding work Must be ok working in a non tempered building environment.
