Job Description: CNC Machinist RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:--- Primary responsibility is to operate large, CNC-controlled lathes or milling machines:o Loading work piece into machine, layout and setting program offsetso Monitoring the machining process, identifying and correcting issueso Unloading and deburring of semi-finished parto Indexing carbide inserts, rebuilding and basic repairs of tooling systemo Proving out new CNC part programs--- Basic machine maintenance (simple repairs, filling oil tanks, cleaning out chips and debris)--- Performing in-process inspection of completed work pieces--- Maintaining relevant reports and documentationcnc lathe, cnc, cnc mill lathe, milling machine, cnc programming, Cnc machine, overhead crane operation, bandsawAdditional Skills & Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:--- Perform all work in accordance with Company safety rules--- Read and understand written instructions and work lists--- Basic shop math skills (Algebra / Geometry)--- Read and interpret manufacturing drawings--- Read and interpret CNC program manuscripts--- Perform basic trouble-shooting of CNC programs--- Use precision measuring instruments--- Experience operating tow motors, overhead cranes, or similar heavy equipmentPay:$55,000k About Aerotek: We know that a company's success starts with its employees.
