SUMMARY:

instrumentation and data acquisition/analysis software systems.

The Human Resources Coordinator will work collaboratively to
provide support and human resource services to US employees and
general administrative support Globally. This position will engage
in a broad range of human resource activities including
recruitment, performance, employee relations, HR compliance and HR
administration. This position requires a high attention to detail,
administrative work, and excellent interpersonal skills.
Essential Job Functions - Responsibilities
Recruitment/On-boarding
- Source and screen the recruitment process for positions located
within the US as assigned
- Maintain job folders for future reference on activities
undertaken to fill job openings
- Liaise with community, newspapers, colleges, networking
organizations, and outreach organizations to continually enhance
good faith efforts and recruiting sources
- Ensure recruiting materials reflect current business practices
and update accordingly
- Administer the on-boarding process for US new hires
- AAP compliance and liaison with external sources
- Screening and verification systems, internally and externally
Performance Management
- Train US new hires on performance management process
- Maintain the PeformYard or other HRIS database performance
systems
- Work with managers and employees to ensure performance reviews
are completed within required timeframe with balanced and detailed
feedback Employee Relations
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling
questions, interpreting and administering policies and helping
resolve work-related problems
- Maintain positive employee relations and environment of
engagement, integrity, respect, collaboration, and continuous
improvement, escalate issues to HR management as needed
- Administer annual employee engagement survey and ensure
completion of action plans
- Partner to conduct investigations as required
- Employment verifications and support to field compliance, HR
leader or safety leader Communications
- Generate employee communications related to HR activities and
announcements HRIS/Systems Maintenance
- Maintain employee records/files in a confidential secure
fashion consistent with employment laws
- Prepare monthly and periodic reports, such as headcount and
turnover reports as requested
- Administer and update various HR related systems (UKG,
PerformYard, EVerify, etc) Benefits
- Participate closely in the open enrollment process and
understand benefit packages to the extent necessary to support
local staff
- Administer and track FMLA, STD, LOA, etc. and coordinate with
external vendors
- Reconcile PTO and ensure leaves of absences (e.g., short-term,
long-term, leave without pay) are handled expeditiously and
accurately
- Prepare time and attendance reports and communicate timely to
Finance department for payroll audit and processing Compensation
- Create and maintain company-wide job descriptions
- Process employee record changes as appropriate to maintain
current reference data (salary, etc.) and communicate to affected
departments ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:
- Conduct research projects and make recommendations as directed
by manager
- Maintain HR work instructions
- Assist with HR projects as directed by manager
- Other duties as assigned Education - Experience -
Qualifications
- Associates degree or Bachelor's degree preferred and/or
equivalent education and experience
- 1-3 years working in the field of human resource experience
required
- PHR or other HR certification or education desirable
- Knowledgeable about HRIS, time and attendance, LinkedIn,
recruitment tools, particularly UKG UltiPro and PerformYard or
similar databases
- PC experience including but not limited to: Internet and
Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Demonstrated effective communication skills: written oral and
inter-personal skills
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work independently and
maintain a high level of confidentiality with employee records and
employ effective time management skills
- Ability to work in a team and matrixed environment
- Ability to communicate fluently in English
- Demonstrated self-motivation and self-discipline traits
- Excellent interpersonal skills needed to deal with a wide range
of individuals
