mutual respect.Job OverviewAt Right Networks we transform data into
meaningful information to help our business leaders manage
performance, improve operations, make critical decisions, and
evaluate our strategic choices. We have made a significant
investment in a Microsoft Azure Analytics platform and are seeking
a data engineer to help us advance our analytics capabilities and
assets.The Data Engineer is responsible for leveraging the
Microsoft Azure stack to build and maintain optimized and highly
available data pipelines and transformations that facilitate deeper
analysis and reporting by the Analytics team.This is a remote work
position.ResponsibilitiesWork closely with the Data Engineering and
Data Analysis teams to design, build, populate, and maintain the
Analytics Data Warehouse to provide business intelligence and
insights to managementUnderstand and document business requirements
for reporting and analysis and identify the source data and define
transformation logic requirements, and test criteriaDesign,
develop, deploy, and monitor data pipelines using Azure Data
FactoryDesign, develop, and test ETL logic using Microsoft SQL
Server technologiesDefine test criteria and validate resultsMonitor
and maintain data pipelines proactively to ensure high service
availabilityIdentify data quality issues and support data
governance initiativeParticipate in on-call rotation for off-hours
supportRequirementsBachelor or master's degree in computer
science5-10 years of relevant experience in Data Engineering and
Data Analytics in a Microsoft Azure environmentStrong knowledge of
Azure data ecosystem for compute and storageProficient in
developing complex queries and tuning SQL queries for
performanceAbility to create functioning ETLELT prototypes to
address quickly changing business needsDeep understanding of data
architecture and database concepts including physical and logical
modelingStrong understanding of data structures and
algorithmsStrong Analytic and Problem-Solving SkillsBe accountable
for high quality and timely deliverablesShow initiative and
demonstrate effective work habits within a remote or hybrid
teamWork well with business analysts to understand business
requirements and validate dataManage multiple projects and shift
priorities as neededCollaborate cross-functionally and build
