The team
Deloitte's Talent Marketing & Communications team supports Talent
leadership in driving Talent priorities internally and externally
in the areas of Recruiting; Talent Brand; Rewards, Recognition, and
Well-being; Learning & Development; Deloitte University; Diversity,
Equity, & Inclusion; PPMD Talent; Life@Deloitte and Awards. The
team brings together creative skills, analytics and insights, and
industry best practices to excite, engage, and retain our
people.
As a Talent Communications Lead Specialist, you will:
- Work with your Talent Communication colleagues and key
stakeholders to drive and position Deloitte Talent initiatives
internally and externally using relevant internal channels, media
outlets, and social channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor and provide strategic internal and
external communications counsel.
- Collaborate to drive internal and external communication
objectives and programs designed to strategically position Deloitte
across multiple audiences on various talent topics.
- Help drive eminence and social media strategy for Talent
leaders.
- Prepare Talent spokespeople and leaders for media interviews
and speaking engagements by providing briefing packets as
appropriate. Facilitate and coordinate media training for
spokespeople when required.
- Employ strong project management skills and juggle multiple
tasks simultaneously, consistently delivering high-quality
results.
- Send daily media updates to leadership.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of related experience in communications or public
relations, with a focus on internal and external communications
strategy and planning, media relations, and social media.
- Deep understanding of integrated internal and external
communications strategies and tactics and how they come together to
provide measurable results.
- Strong experience and comfort in using social channels to
amplify eminence and brand.
- Team-oriented approach with ability to take initiative,
prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously to meet client
expectations and deadlines across multiple projects.
- Ability to interact and communicate across a variety of
stakeholder groups (technical subject matter experts to business
owners), with ability to present complex information in easily
understandable format and tailored to the audience.
- Strong writing skills.
- Strong persuasive skills and able to gain consensus through
influence.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills; flexibility and
adaptability.
- Executive presence, professional client service manner,
demonstrated ability to take initiative.
- Ability to work in a matrixed organization with a virtual team,
experience in large corporate setting and/or professional services
a plus.
- Ability to think both strategically and execute
tactically.
- Bachelor's degree in public relations, communications,
journalism, English, or related business field.
- Limited immigration sponsorsip may be available
- Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and
the clients and industries/sectors you serve
