Position Summary: 

The Corporate Recruiter Sales, provides full-cycle recruiting services to the assigned business unit(s) and is responsible sourcing, qualifying and delivering diverse candidates for primarily high-volume outside sales positions. Recruit and onboard direct seller (3508) and employee (W2) sales candidates.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to consult on hiring plans, define job requirements, develop candidate generation strategies and screen candidates through the full life-cycle recruiting process
  • Understand the talent demands of their assigned functional area and translate those demands into a staffing strategy that is timely and results driven with clear action items
  • Develop creative sourcing plans to include traditional networking strategies, web-based, and social media strategies
  • Review resumes and applications, phone interview, and recommend top talent for a wide-variety of positions including front-line recruiting for Sales Representatives
  • Approach recruiting from a sales and marketing perspective – selling a career opportunity vs. a product
  • Conduct time-sensitive on-boarding activities including pre-hire background checks where applicable
  • Must be highly organized to be able to manage and track applicants, and provide weekly recruitment status updates to assigned business unit, team lead, and/or manager
  • Work with management, peers and other HR colleagues to ensure consistency across the organization relating to policies and/or practices

Experience and Minimum Qualifications:

  • Intermediate experience with one or more recruiting software platforms such as: ZipRecruiter, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, various applicant tracking systems
  • Must have experience with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and/or Access)
  • Ability to juggle various work activities and shift their attention from one task to another to meet the demands of different stakeholders without “dropping the ball”.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy, team-oriented environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “today not tomorrow” mentality.
  • Detail-oriented and can focus on the task at hand, no matter how minute, by finding the most efficient and effective pathway to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required for communicating with internal and external parties in a manner that is both articulate and professional.
  • Ability to provide timely and empathetic help through in-person, phone, email, and social media avenues that keeps the co-worker or customer’s needs at the forefront of every interaction.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, to recognize, understand, and manage one’s own emotions as well as others, and foster positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Holding oneself responsible and being self-driven in accomplishing business goals, adhering to policies and being responsible for one’s own actions, performance, and decisions.
