Job Description:
Our client is looking for a remote accounting assistant for a 1
month assignment!--This position is responsible for--servicing AP
accounts and an--assigned range of Sales Audit stores. Major
Responsibilities/Essential Functions: * Works to key metrics and
deliverables including servicing their assigned range of Sales
Audit stores or portfolio of direct or indirect vendor, supplier,
and service provider accounts. * Reviewing daily depository and
researching over and short and other discrepancies outside of
tolerances. * Work--with banks, Treasury stores, internal
departments such as Store Operations and Asset Control as necessary
on matters of compliance. * Researching discrepancies, resolving
vendor claims and disputes outside of tolerances, performing
statement reconciliation and assessing chargebacks and penalties as
indicated. * Work closely with Merchandising, distribution centers,
stores, store operations and Purchasing to resolve issues and in
the interpretation of the company policies#ZR
