Job Description Job Description CNC Programmer & Machinist CNC
Programmer & Machinist to operate and maintain CNC equipment in an
additive manufacturing environment. In the position of CNC
Programmer & Machinist, you will be responsible for reading and
interpreting technical blueprints, collaborating with AM Engineers,
MasterCam CNC 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC Mill programming, adjusting the
machine cutting paths, and performing quality checks on the final
product. You will also be required to perform routine machine
maintenance and troubleshoot issues that arise during the
manufacturing process. To ensure success as a CNC Programmer &
Machinist, you should have extensive experience working in
manufacturing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work
independently, with minimal supervision. Our need is for a
top-class CNC Programmer & Machinist with proven problem-solving
skills, innovative ideas to improve efficiency, providing quick and
efficient solutions, ensuring all products meet the specifications
of the client. CNC Programmer & Machinist Responsibilities: Reading
and interpreting technical blueprints and design models. CNC
Programming, CNC Set-up and CNC running of CNC AM parts. Choosing
and loading the correct cutting tools for the job. Adjusting
machine settings to the desired product specifications.
Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process. Completing
quality control tests during the manufacturing stage and on the
final product. Cleaning and maintaining the machine. Training
co-workers on machine operation procedures, as needed. CNC
Programmer & Machinist Requirements: High school diploma or GED.
Exceptional problem-solving skills. 5 years previous work
experience as a MasterCam CNC Programmer for 3, 4, & 5 Axis CNC
Mills. 15 years previous work experience as a 3, 4, and 5 Axis CNC
Mill Machinist. Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
Ability to collaborate with AM Engineers. Strong attention to
detail. Ability to work independently and meet required deadlines.
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to walk throughout a
manufacturing facility. Ability to work overtime when require. Must
be a US Citizen (or currently permitted to work in the US) Must
meet ITAR requirements
