Job Description:
As a key member of Ryder's transportation team, the Regional
Class A CDL Truck Driver is pivotal in delivering goods safely and
efficiently across the region. This role demands dedication to
customer service, adherence to rigorous safety standards, and
active participation in our environmentally responsible logistics
practices. Drivers enjoy direct routes that enhance work-life

Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various
regional destinations. Comply with all DOT regulations and safety
standards. Load and unload cargo, ensuring secure and damage-free
delivery. Maintain logs of travel and cargo according to federal
and state regulations. Report any incidents or discrepancies to the
management team immediately. Conduct regular vehicle inspections to
ensure operational safety. Provide excellent customer service as
the face of Ryder to the client during deliveries. Proven ability
to operate a Class A CDL vehicle. Strong knowledge of DOT
regulations and safety standards. Effective communication and
customer service skills. Ability to handle physical workload. Basic
troubleshooting skills for minor truck maintenance. 401k Must
possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL). A clean
driving record. Preferred: Hazmat endorsement
