Warehouse Manager for our Akron, Ohio location. With over 100 years

providing it. Job Summary The Warehouse Manager will be responsible
for overseeing and managing the day-to-day warehouse operations and
quality control processes within a distribution company. This role
involves ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of scanning, picking,
and loading activities, as well as maintaining high-quality
standards for outgoing shipments. The coordinator will also serve
as the primary point of contact for customer scheduling and
communications, ensuring timely deliveries and customer
satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Logistics Management: Coordinate
and oversee the scanning, picking, and loading processes to ensure
timely and accurate fulfillment of orders. Ensure that all products
are picked and packed according to specifications, with correct
quantities, packaging, and labeling. Manage the loading process to
optimize truck space and ensure secure transport of goods.
Collaborate with the warehouse team to maintain an organized and
efficient workflow in the distribution center. Quality Control:
Conduct regular inspections of outgoing shipments to verify the
quality and integrity of products. Perform random checks on
scanning and picking procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
with operational standards. Identify and resolve discrepancies,
damage, or quality issues before shipment. Implement and monitor
quality control protocols to minimize errors and maintain high
standards in product handling. Customer Communication & Scheduling:
Serve as the main point of contact for customers regarding order
status, delivery schedules, and any special requests. Coordinate
with customers to schedule deliveries, ensuring that timelines and
requirements are met. Address customer concerns or issues related
to delivery schedules or product quality promptly and
professionally. Provide regular updates to customers regarding
delivery progress and any potential delays. Reporting &
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inspections, shipments,
and quality control procedures. Generate reports on logistics
performance, quality control findings, and any issues for
management review. Ensure proper documentation for each shipment,
including scanning logs, loading manifests, and customer delivery
confirmations. Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with
warehouse staff, drivers, and management to ensure smooth
operations and resolve any issues related to logistics and quality
control. Provide feedback to warehouse and logistics teams to
improve efficiency and quality standards. Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience in logistics, warehouse operations, or
distribution management. Strong understanding of quality control
processes and standards. Excellent communication skills, both
verbal and written, for interacting with customers and internal
teams. Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet
deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and
problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues promptly.
Proficiency in using logistics and warehouse management software.
Basic knowledge of truck loading and transportation procedures.
Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent
(required). Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply
Chain Management, or related field (preferred). 2 years of
experience in logistics or quality control within a distribution or
warehouse environment. Working Conditions May require occasional
evening or weekend hours depending on customer needs. Physical
demands include standing, walking, and possibly lifting items up to
50 pounds. Fast-paced and dynamic work environment. Location Akron,
