Our client companies in Akron, OH immediately seeks a Technical Machine Builder who will have core responsibilities on the production team for fitting and assembling components to construct, rebuild, and repair machines and equipment. Machine Builders work independently and as part of a team, at times with limited supervision. As a Technical Machine Builder, you will: Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions, and other instructions written or verbal. Use a variety of hand and power tools and equipment to assemble units according to required specifications in specific areas of production. Consult with Engineering for custom product design projects. Aligns components for assembly and blots, screws, dowels, welds, or rivets arts together, or arranges for assembly by welder and electrician. Technical Machine Builder position highlights: Full time, 1st Shift position paying $17 to $23 per hour. (Higher salaries negotiable for those with more experience and skill.) 520-hour evaluation period prior to permanent placement. Direct hire negotiable. Full benefits from client available within 90 days once permanently hired. What we look for in a Technical Machine Builder: One-year certificate from college or technical school, or 3-6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination. Ability to read blue prints and follow detailed instructions. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
