• Flexible work scheduleThe TeamHealth Akron Billing Center is currently recruiting for an IDX Billing Trainer. This is an amazing opportunity that offers a HYBRID work schedule! JOB DESCRIPTION OVERVIEW: The IDX Trainer has the overall responsibility for the orientation and training of all newly hired employees, as well as remedial training for employees whose QA exceeds 5% or whose production goals have not been met. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Review of HCFS and departmental policies and procedures for all newly hired employees.
  • Conduct IDX application training and/or retraining a. IDX BAR and PCS b. MRTS c. VBX d. OnBase
  • Assist managers and supervisors in development of training and retraining guides.
  • Oversee IDX/MRTS security access following HCFS policy and procedure, maintaining files of all security changes, as well as quarterly reports.
  • Distribute all new policies and procedures to management staff, maintaining file of signed policy acknowledgement forms.
  • Assist HCFS Corporate Training Director with development of training materials for new programs and procedures.
  • Assist with production in any department as directed by the Vice President. Assist with development of departmental policies and procedures when new software enhancements are initiated.
  • Special projects as directed by Vice President QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:
    • Proficiency in IDX billing software
    • Demonstrated knowledge of physician billing and healthcare reimbursement
    • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in physician billing management
    • Minimum high school diploma. BS or BA preferred or equivalent of management/supervisory experience in physician billing related field.
    • Ability to prioritize workload to meet scheduled deadlines
    • Good verbal and written communication skills
    • Good analytical skills
    • Strong PC skills
    • Mandatory overtime as directed by Management
