Job Description:
Job Summary:The human resource generalist is responsible for
performing HR related duties on a professional level and works
closely with senior HR management in supporting NOMS Healthcare
employees. This position carries out responsibilities in the
following functional areas: employee relations, training,
performance management, onboarding, recruitment/employment,
affirmative action, and employment law compliance.
Essential Functions:1. Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt
and nonexempt personnel, students, and temporary employees;
conducts new-employee orientations; monitors career-pathing program
and writes and places advertisements.2. Assists in evaluation of
reports, decisions, and results of department in relation to
established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies, and
procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the
department and services performed.3. Coordinates implementation/
maintenance of Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS).4. Answers
routine questions from employees and applicants about employment
procedures and policies, benefits, and other HR-related topics.5.
Develops and conducts training on various topics for NOMS
employees.6. Maintains compliance with federal and state
regulations concerning employment.7. Writes, revises, edits, and
proofreads company policies and procedures and related documents as
needed.8. Works with hiring managers to develop job descriptions.9.
Assists with development/implementation of performance evaluation
and rewards systems.10. Performs other related duties as required
and assigned.11. Other duties as assigned

Education and Work Experience:1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in
Human Resources, Business or Organization Development or
equivalent.2. Two years of progressive experience in a Human
Resources position.
Environmental/Working Conditions:Office setting, well-ventilated
and well lighted. Work involves frequent telephone contact with
patients. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with others
is constant and interruptive.Physical/Mental Demands:Normal office
environment. Work is typically performed at a desk or table
requiring the use of standard office equipment. Intermittent
sitting, standing and stooping. May view computer screen for long
periods of time. Work may be stressful at times. Interaction with
