Our agency is seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist who
enjoys working directly with patients and is committed to providing
high-quality care. In this role, you will be responsible for
collecting blood specimens, ensuring proper patient identification,
and following laboratory and safety protocols to support accurate
testing and diagnosis. You will play an important role in
supporting our clinical teams and helping ensure patients receive

long-term career growth Responsibilities : Performs venipuncture
and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages using
appropriate techniques and equipment. Correctly labels, processes,
and prepares blood specimens for laboratory testing following
established protocols. Maintains accurate and organized patient
records, ensuring proper documentation of specimen collection and
handling. Ensures compliance with all applicable federal, state,
and organizational regulations related to laboratory safety,
infection control, and specimen handling. Verifies patient
identification and explains procedures to patients to ensure
comfort and understanding during specimen collection. Maintains
cleanliness and organization of phlebotomy work areas, equipment,
and supplies. Monitors and restocks phlebotomy supplies and
notifies appropriate staff when inventory is low. Adheres to all
Meridian HealthCare policies and procedures related to patient
care, safety, and confidentiality (HIPAA). Assists clinical staff
and providers as needed to support patient care and clinic
workflow. Communicates effectively with providers, nursing staff,
and laboratory personnel regarding specimen collection and patient
needs. Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Completion
of a phlebotomy training program preferred. Phlebotomy
certification (such as CPT, PBT, or equivalent) preferred.
