Provide critical care to patients in a progressive care unit with diverse medical needs, including stroke, pneumonia, cellulitis, and cardiac conditions. This contract opportunity in Belmont, NC, is ideal for registered nurses with at least 18 months of PCU experience who are committed to delivering compassionate, skilled care in a close-knit team environment. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing tracheostomies, chest tubes, central lines, and administering blood products. Collaborate closely with CNAs, charge nurses, phlebotomists, respiratory therapists, and hospitalists to ensure comprehensive patient care. The unit utilizes EPIC EMR, Phillips telemetry monitors, and various patient safety and positioning tools. Adaptability to float within the regions facilities as needed is required, with travel time compensated.
