Shift: Inquire Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $3160 / Week Travel IR Tech Fusion Medical Staffing Facility in Morgantown, West Virginia Job Details Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR tech) for a 13-week travel assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. One year’s recent experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist Valid Radiologic Technologist license in compliance within state regulations Summary: The Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist assists physicians in performing minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging technology. This role involves preparing patients and equipment, operating fluoroscopic and other imaging modalities, and ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety. The IR Technologist works closely with the interventional radiologist and healthcare team to support complex vascular and non-vascular procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. Prepare and position patients for interventional radiology procedures, ensuring comfort and safety Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy, CT, and ultrasound, to guide procedures Assist physicians by scrubbing in for sterile procedures, passing instruments, and maintaining a sterile field Monitor and document patient vital signs and procedural details Administer contrast media and monitoring for adverse reactions Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring readiness for procedures Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other team members to provide seamless patient care Follow all infection control, safety, and regulatory protocols Perform other duties as assigned to support IR lab operations Adhere to hospital safety protocols, infection control guidelines, and regulatory standards The ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language Physical Abilities - Must be able to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50-100lbs), push, pull, and bend Technical/Motor Skills - Must have the ability to grasp, perform fine manipulation, push/pull, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment Mental Requirements - Must be able to cope with frequent contact with the general public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure. Must be able to work under close supervision occasionally, as well as working without assistance from other personnel.
