Job Description:

RL Communities is seeking a passionate and experienced Lifestyle Director to join our dedicated team in enhancing the lives of residents within our senior living community. The Lifestyle Director will be instrumental in developing, coordinating, and overseeing vibrant recreational programs and events that promote wellness, social engagement, and enjoyment among our residents. This role demands creativity, exceptional organizational skills, and a genuine love for working with seniors in a community setting. Design, plan, and execute a range of recreational activities and events tailored to the interests and capabilities of senior residents. Collaborate with other departments to integrate recreational plans with overall community goals and resident care plans. Manage budgets and resources for recreational activities effectively. Train and oversee staff and volunteers involved in the recreation department. Regularly evaluate the effectiveness of recreation and lifestyle programs and make adjustments as necessary. Engage residents and their families to ensure high participation and satisfaction rates in planned activities. Stay updated with trends in senior recreation and integrate innovative practices and activities. Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in creating and managing budgets Ability to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings Creative thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Activities Director (CAD) CPR and First Aid certification
