Johnstown, PA Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, Daylight Hours

Assistant . In this role, you will work at the heart of patient
care, supporting world-class physicians and building meaningful
relationships with patients. From clinical tasks to essential

hematology. Your Impact & Responsibilities Direct Patient Care:
Manage patient flow, take vital signs, collect patient histories,
and perform screenings according to provider guidelines. Clinical
Procedures: Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, and level-one lab testing.
Assist physicians with specialized procedures and administer
injectable medications/vaccines under supervision. Patient
Advocacy: Relay medical instructions to families, provide patient
education, and assist with transfers, dressing, and specimen
collection. Administrative Excellence: Coordinate scheduling for
tests and treatments, verify insurance coverage, and manage medical
records in strict accordance with HIPAA regulations. Clinic
Stewardship: Maintain sterile exam rooms, set up specialized
equipment, and manage clinical inventory to ensure the highest
standards of infection control (OSHA/CLIA). Qualifications
Candidates will be placed in the appropriate job title and salary
tier based on their unique experience and education. Education:
High school diploma or equivalent is required. Certification:
Medical Assistant Certification is required Skills: Knowledge of
medical terminology and basic computer proficiency is essential.
Experience: Previous experience in patient care is highly
preferred. Attributes: Strong organizational skills and the ability
to maintain confidentiality in a high-stakes clinical environment.
Licensure & Clearances: CPR/BLS: Basic Life Support or CPR
certification required (AHA standards with didactic and skills
components) within 30 days of hire. Clearances: Standard state
criminal clearance (Act 34).
