Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown Unit/n/n Location/n Not specified /n/nAssignment Duration/n This is a 13-week contract position. /n/nSchedule/n 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled. /n/nJob Description/n We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Cardiac/Telemetry Stepdown Unit. This unit is a higher acuity area, handling patients with complex cardiac conditions and post-operative care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telemetry nursing and be able to manage multiple high-risk patients effectively. /n/nResponsibilities/n /n - Provide care for a diverse patient population, including those with cardiac issues and respiratory problems. /n - Manage patient care under a nursing ratio of 1:4 in a PCU setting. /n - Titrate medications and administer various drips, including Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin. /n - Collaborate with the charge nurse and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. /n - Utilize Philips monitors for telemetry and ensure accurate interpretation of cardiac strips. /n /n/nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure/n /n - BLS certification is required. /n - Experience in a higher acuity telemetry or stepdown unit is essential. /n - Must be able to manage and titrate cardiac medications. /n /n/nWhy ARMStaffing?/n At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
