Virginia, 26537! Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – West
Virginia Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: West Virginia
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule:
3x12 hour day shifts, 7:00am–7:30pm, weekdays with every other
weekend; float required Highlights: 13-week contract in a 2-bed
Intensive Care Unit with low daily census (average 0.2 patients per
day) 2:1 patient ratio across all shifts, allowing for focused,
individualized patient care Comprehensive interdisciplinary support
including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and
more 12-hour orientation to ensure smooth onboarding and
integration with the team CPSI electronic medical record system in
use Work with adult and geriatric patient populations requiring
critical care Requirements: Active West Virginia or Compact RN
License (pending license acceptable) Minimum 2 years of registered
nursing experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) – all via American Heart Association
Preferred certification: CCRN Skills required: Conscious sedation,
telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management Experience with
arterial line management, central line care, dysrhythmia
management, procedural sedation, and critical drips (vasoactive,
sedation, cardiac) Proficiency in blood product administration, ABG
interpretation, and care of ventilated patients Minimum of 2
manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years Flu
vaccine required (medical exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccine not
required Permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from
facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case) Why It's a Great
