Job Description:

At Encompass Health Corporation, we are looking to expand our dedicated team with a Rehab Nursing Tech who will work closely in our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role is crucial in assisting patients recovering from a range of challenging illnesses and injuries. Our goal is to help every patient gain the highest level of independence possible. As a Rehab Nursing Tech, you will be directly involved in providing top-notch direct patient care under the supervision of nursing staff, adhering to our companys focus on integrative patient services that deliver expansive care. Provide basic nursing care to patients including bathing, feeding, and assisting in mobility. Support registered nurses and other staff in implementing patient treatment plans. Record and communicate all issues to the medical team. Assist with medical procedures as needed and under supervision. Engage with patients’ family members to keep them informed and support patient-centered care. Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the hospital. Knowledge of patient care and basic medical procedures. Strong observational and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team. Physical endurance and manual dexterity. Empathy and resilience in dealing with patients undergoing physical and emotional challenges. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred but not required. CPR and BLS certification required or must be obtained within 60 days of employment.
