Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Kingwood, WV Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,566 per week Shift Information: Days - 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/16/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – West Virginia Start Date: February 16, 2026 Location: West Virginia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts, weekdays with every other weekend, float required Highlights: 13-week travel contract in a 2-bed ICU setting with low average daily census (0.2 patients per day) 2:1 patient ratio for all shifts including weekends, providing focused critical care Work with advanced critical care skills including ventilator management, conscious sedation, arterial lines, and vasoactive drips 12-hour orientation with interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more EMR system: CPSI Adult and geriatric patient population Requirements: Active West Virginia or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable) Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (via American Heart Association), NIH Stroke Scale Preferred certification: CCRN Essential skills: Conscious sedation, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management Competencies in management of dysrhythmias, multisystem organ dysfunction, arterial blood gas interpretation, central line care, procedural sedation, and vasoactive drip titration Experience with arterial line management, IV insulin protocols, sheath removal, and 12-lead EKG interpretation Two professional manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years Permanent address greater than 100 miles from facility location (75-100 miles considered case-by-case) Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only) Why It's a Great Opportunity: This ICU role offers the chance to deliver high-quality, patient-centered critical care in a supportive environment with comprehensive interdisciplinary collaboration.
