registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1 years RN experience

be considered. Provide critical care on a stepdown nursing unit
with a focus on patient safety and dynamic response to acuity
changes. The role involves managing patients on telemetry with a
typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4, escalating to 1:5 during
emergencies. This opportunity is based on a night shift schedule,
allowing you to apply your skills in a fast-paced clinical
environment while supporting patient recovery through vigilant
monitoring and care. Location: Morgantown, WV Morgantown offers a

of life. Schedule/Hours: - Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM - 3 shifts per
week - Weekdays and every other weekend rotation Key
Responsibilities: - Monitor and care for stepdown unit patients on
telemetry with acuity requiring less intensive interventions than
ICU - Initiate IV starts and manage telemetry readings effectively
- Communicate patient status to interdisciplinary teams - Adhere to
patient safety protocols and rapid assessment standards - Maintain
accurate electronic medical records using Cerner Qualifications &
Experience: - Registered Nurse with current licensure - Minimum 2
years nursing experience, including at least 1 year in
Medical/Surgical Telemetry and 2 years in Stepdown care -
Proficient in telemetry strip reading and IV start skills -
Certifications: BCLS and ACLS required - Ability to maintain
attendance standards with minimal call offs Additional Information:
- Scrub colors: burgundy and/or white (not provided) - Contract
length: 13 weeks, with possible extension - No travel experience
