Travel/Temporary Job Overview We are seeking an experienced
Registered Nurse (RN) to join our busy 21-bed Renal Med-Surg unit
specializing in the care of patients with acute and chronic kidney
disease, post-dialysis needs, and complex medical-surgical
conditions. This high-acuity unit manages a diverse patient
population requiring continuous monitoring, frequent assessments,
and multidisciplinary coordination. The ideal candidate is
confident in managing renal-related complications while thriving in
a fast-paced environment with high patient turnover. Key
Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult renal
and medical-surgical patients Manage patients with acute kidney
injury, chronic kidney disease, and post-dialysis needs Monitor and
interpret cardiac telemetry Collaborate with nephrologists and
interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Float as
needed within scope to similar Med-Surg units, including Wound
Care, Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and ED boarders
Qualifications Active Ohio RN license (required at submission)
Current BLS certification Minimum 3 years of recent Med-Surg and
Telemetry experience (renal experience strongly preferred) Proven
ability to independently read and interpret telemetry strips
Competency test required on Day 1; failure results in immediate
contract termination Epic EMR proficiency (mandatory, no training
provided) Lack of Epic proficiency results in immediate termination
Additional Details No on-call requirement Must demonstrate
adaptability, efficiency, and strong critical thinking in a
high-volume setting Epic proficiency must be clearly documented in
submission Candidates must meet all requirements at submission
Additional updated BSA on 6.26.25 Facility reserves the right to
cancel up to 36 hours per 13 week contract. These hours are not
limited to 12 hour shifts and will be marked on the facility time
