ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Weirton, West Virginia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Telemetry Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, rotating Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - Tele Float Pool Job Details: • Work 12-hour day/night rotate shifts OR single shift (traveler's preference), Friday through Sunday • Self-scheduling with 3 twelve-hour shifts per week • Every other weekend requirement • Float to multiple units of varying acuity levels including CCU, IMC, Medical Surgical Level 7 & 8, Skilled Care, and ED (if within skillset) • Patient ratios vary by unit: CCU 1:2-3, IMC 1:4-6, MS Level 7 1:5-6, MS Level 8 1:5-8, Skilled Care 1:8-10 • Must have 5 years of nursing experience • Prefer 1 year of ICU experience or 1 year of ED experience • Must be comfortable with ratios from 1:2-10 and flexible/adaptable with multi-functional expertise • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS (if working in CCU or ED) • Must titrate drips if working in ED or CCU, including managing all critical drips such as Heparin • Expected to troubleshoot respiratory equipment and read/interpret telemetry strips • Required to print strips, perform measurements, and identify rhythms • Navy blue scrub color required • Use Cerner charting system • Receive assignment via text message within 2 hours prior to shift start • 1 day of orientation and 1 day with preceptor • BSN not required • May be placed in holiday rotation • No call or standby requirements Facility: This acute care medical center provides comprehensive healthcare services across multiple specialized units including critical care, intermediate care, medical-surgical floors, skilled care, and emergency services.
