Job Description HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 12/21/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Job Title: RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Location: 1 Akron General Ave, Akron, OH 44307 Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM Schedule: 3x12, Nights, Every Other Holiday Required Skills & Experience: - Minimum 18 months of recent permanent PCU/Stepdown experience required - Ohio State RN License or Compact State License in hand at time of submission - AHA BLS and ACLS required - Strong ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety knowledge (SafeMedicate) - Must successfully complete ECG and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum) - Experience in cardiac monitoring, titrating drips, and managing stepdown-level acuity patients preferred - Epic EMR experience preferred About HonorVet Technologies HonorVet Technologies: Pioneering Purpose, Empowering Heroes Founded in 2015, HonorVet Technologies stands as a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), proudly certified by NaVOBA and the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
