Travel Nurse Job Details - Location: Akron, Ohio 44302 - Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) - Healthcare Setting: Level III NICU - Start Date: November 17, 2025 - End Date: February 16, 2026 - Contract Duration: 13 weeks - Shift: 3x12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) - Hours per Week: 36 - Estimated Weekly Pay: $2160 - $2210 - Openings: 2 NICU RN positions available - Float Requirement: Willingness to float to Summa location and other qualified healthcare units as needed NICU Registered Nurse Qualifications - Minimum 2 years of recent NICU RN experience in a U.S. hospital or healthcare setting - Active Ohio or Compact Registered Nurse license in hand at time of submission - Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required - BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required - STABLE certification preferred - EPIC charting experience preferred but not required - Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered) - Prior travel nursing experience required - Ability to float to competent units and multiple healthcare locations as needed NICU RN Responsibilities - Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill neonates in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit - Monitor, assess, and document patient status and clinical progress using electronic health records (EHR) - Administer medications, treatments, and specialized neonatal procedures as ordered - Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans - Educate and support families throughout the NICU stay - Float to other qualified units or healthcare locations as needed to support patient care - Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Apply now to join our dedicated healthcare team as a NICU Registered Nurse in Akron, Ohio.
