Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 12/29/2025 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Location: Akron, OH Start Date: 12/28/2025 Weekly Pre-Tax Pay: $2,151.86 Position: Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT – Acute Care) Shift: 3x12 Nights | 19:00 – 07:30 Job Summary: Join a top-rated Level 1 Trauma Center in Akron, OH, delivering advanced respiratory care to adult acute care patients. The Respiratory Therapist will perform a wide range of procedures, maintain ventilator management, and ensure optimal patient outcomes through collaboration with an experienced multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities: - Confirm physician orders, assess patient condition, and ensure safe, effective care. - Monitor and document patient responses to therapy and interventions. - Explain procedures, address questions, and promote patient comfort and safety. - Set up and manage respiratory equipment, including PB 980, PB 840, V60, Epoc, and ParaPacPlus. - Administer medical gases and medications per department policy. - Respond to codes and emergencies, performing CPR as needed. - Participate in care teams, education initiatives, and quality improvement projects.
