Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 16 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler seeks experienced RNs for a Cardiovascular ICU position requiring recent open-heart and Epic experience. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in a 26-bed CVICU (cardiac, open-heart, thoracic, vascular) unit - Night shift schedule from 19:00–07:30 - Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 1:2, may occasionally go up to 1:3 - Floating to other units is required - Epic EMR experience within the last year is required - RNs must be able to work independently in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment - Solid black scrubs are required - No more than 7 days of requested time off and none within the first two weeks of assignment - Block scheduling requests will not be accepted - Candidates living within 40 miles will receive a local rate /n /n Requirements/n - Active RN license required - Minimum 2 years of recent open-heart experience in a CVICU setting - Current BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required; AHA accepted for BLS and ACLS - Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing - Recent Epic charting experience documented on resume - Must be independent in obtaining labs and initiating IVs - Completion of a CVICU Skills Checklist required for consideration /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-591116.
