department leadership with all operational needs for the Inpatient
and Outpatient coding areas. Audits Epic work queues. Tracks
productivity and quality. Performs lead role to inpatient and
outpatient staff. Minimum Qualifications: 1. Formal Education
Required: a. Associate’s degree in Health Information Technology b.
Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management preferred. c.
RHIA, RHIT, RHIA/RHIT eligible, CCS or CPC-H credentials. 2.
Experience & Training Required: a. Two (2) years’ experience coding
inpatient and/or outpatient medical records in an acute care
hospital. b. Epic experience preferred. 3. Other Skills,
Competencies and Qualifications: a. Literacy in Word and Excel
programs. b. Passing grade of 80% or better on Inpatient &
Outpatient Coding Test. c. Excellent oral and written communication
skills, organizational and interpersonal skills. d. Excellent
critical thinking and priority skills. e. Ability to work within a
team environment. f. Knowledge of accrediting, licensing, and
compliance requirements. g. Ability to work in a fast-paced
environment. 4. Level of Physical Demands: a. Sedentary: Exerts up
to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of

posting/advertising is base salary exclusive of any bonuses or
differentials. Many factors, such as years of relevant experience
and geographical location are considered when determining the
starting rate of pay. We believe in the importance of pay equity
