About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team at Cleveland Clinic Akron General. As a key member of our surgical team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver world-class care.Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients in the Operating Room
• Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary evaluation of patient outcomes and contribute to the improvement of care
• Delegate tasks and assignments to team members, serve as a resource person, and pursue ongoing education and specialty certificationsRequirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Successfully complete mandatory clinical competencies annuallyPreferred Qualifications
    • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
    • One year of Operating Room experience as a Registered NursePhysical RequirementsThis role requires full range of body motion, including handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination.
