Description

O'Brien Memorial Health Care Center is seeking candidates to join our team as a Medical Records Coordinator.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for all medical records information for each resident.
• Will incorporate, track, and monitor all nursing information in regard to these records.
• Maintain an alphabetical/numerical census list daily; post to nursing units and administrative offices.
• Keep list of admissions and discharges up to date.
• Must maintain the records according to all Federal, State, and local regulations and according to the policies of the facility.
• Will be responsible to make appointments and arrange transportation for residents.
• All other duties as assigned by supervisor.

    Qualifications
    
    
    • Experience in Medical Records in a long term care facility preferred.
    • Must possess excellent organizational and computer skills as well as excellent communication skills.
    • Experience with MS Office products preferred.
