Provide inspirational leadership and vision for the department. Plan, develop, implement and monitor department and hospital policies, performance standards, goals and objectives. Manage and evaluate in a manner that meets continuous quality improvement, customer service, programmatic growth, Federal and State regulations, and Laboratory Accreditation Programs. Qualifications: Master's degree with certification at the Medical Technologist/Medical Laboratory Scientist level with the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) with a minimum of three (3) years laboratory supervision experience; Masters Degree required. Leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills needed for interaction with all members of the healthcare team. Ability to provide: inspirational leadership and vision, conduct meetings, problem solving sessions, interviews; prepare management reports, and review documents; accomplish computer tasks.
