Security Clearance Status: Not Required Collins Galley Inserts is
seeking a professional with knowledge and technical expertise in
Program Management, who leads small and medium-sized programs
within our award-winning Galley Inserts product portfolio. Galley
inserts are highly engineered electrical devices used in storage
and preparation of food and beverages aboard aircraft. The role
leads program management teams, develops program plans / schedules
/ budgets, assesses risks and identifies opportunities, develops
solutions for program problems, and ensures compliance with RTX and
Collins program management policies and procedures. This is an
onsite role in Lenexa, KS and is eligible for relocation. What You
Will Do Leads medium size programs to develop and ensure adherence
to program plans, schedules, budgets and identifies and manages
risks/opportunities for programs under his/her responsibility,
recommending appropriate adjustments and actions as appropriate.
Accountable for utilizing RTX Lifecycle Program Management policies
and procedures to lead the program management team and execute
programs on time and within budget from inception through
development, completing upon successful transition to product line
management and production. Establishes cost- and schedule-focused
performance targets and directs work to achieve these targets.
Responsible for meeting program cost targets by monitoring program
expenditures and reviewing forecasts for accuracy and
analyzing/reporting variances to plan. Leads the Program Management
Team, supervising the availability and appropriate use of all
functional resources allocated to the program to ensure efficient
use of resources. Consolidates program status inputs and progress
reports and develops presentations to regularly brief leadership on
program health. Identifies and reacts to program problems and
supports solutions, such as allocation of resources and changing
specifications. Coordinates responses to customer action items. For
customer funded programs, participates in negotiation of contracts
and contractual changes, including coordinating preparation of
proposals, business plans, proposal work statements, operational
budgets, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts to
ensure legal compliance and to protect the organization’s
interests. Identifies and participates in CORE events to streamline
processes and drive efficiency. Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior
relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and
minimum 3 years of experience Qualifications We Prefer Ideally a
degree qualified in Business/Project Management or an Engineering
discipline. Proven project delivery experience, including bid and
risk management Strong interpersonal skills Strong communication
skills. PMP certification Demonstrated MS Project and Oracle
Primavera P6 proficiency Proven ability to manage new product

86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith
estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers
