DESCRIPTION Security Account Manager JOB DESCRITPION: J8 Security is seeking a professional to oversee a contract security operations for an Akron based Fortune 500 company. The Security Manager provides performance improvement measures and data gathering in accordance with clients' methods for meeting requirements. Maintains records and produces reports as required by the client. The Security Manager will proactively identify opportunities to increase efficiency within the Security Department and make recommendations to management. Ensure that the security staff is initially oriented and provide contractual proof of training. Orientation and monthly training will include client safety and security seminars, training, and educational training programs. This person will also work closely with Corporate Security personnel and have a strong working relationship with all law enforcement agencies. This position pays $23.00/hr. RESPONSIBILITIES: Act as liaison between J8 and Client Be a member of and participate in professional security organizations as it relates to job duties. Provide performance improvement measures and data in accordance with Client methods for meetings. Participate as requested or required in safety and security seminars, training, and education for Client. Maintain records and produce reports as required by Client. Write new and review existing Client policies and procedures, make recommendation for change. Ensure that all security officers are initially oriented and assessed for competency to perform as required in their related duties and areas of responsibility with the Client Help complete payroll every other week. Complete any schedule changes that come up each day. Sign-off all disciplinary actions for Supervisors Following up on disciplinary actions completed by lower ranking supervisors. Conduct on-site new hire interviews. Helping with all onboarding and arranging new officer training Co-Hosting Supervisor meetings Complete & Administer Evaluations with the Supervisors Making sure uniforms are up to standard & maintaining uniform tracking and orders Following up with Supervisors on attendance/disciplinary action for their perspective shifts. Assisting with scheduling staff for special events, fire watch, or anything unexpected Ensuring Post objectives are continuously up to date Maintaining confidentiality of Supervisor related material, tasks, etc. PREFERRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCES: Bachelor's degree in criminal justice preferred. Equivalent related experience can substitute for degree. The candidate should have at least ten years of combined experience within security, military, or law enforcement communities, with verifiable supervisory security experience. Candidate must be self-motivated and able to prioritize and multi-task. Advanced computer skills required including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Adobe).
