Maximum:$152,000The Property Center of Excellence is seeking an
experienced vendor management consultant with strong communication
skills, leadership qualities and organizational abilities. This
role is highly visible across the enterprise with responsibility to
establish relationships with our product and underwriting vendors
as well as business leads throughout the organization, and to
reduce expenses through contract optimization, negotiation
strategies and leveraging scale.
This position requires a proactive, highly motivated individual
with an aptitude for strategic thinking and negotiation who can
work independently and deliver impactful and timely results. The
ideal candidate must be able to make an impact by working with
stakeholders both internally and externally to execute efforts that
positively impact our bottom line. The vendor management consultant
will lead strategic efforts, create processes and procedures to
gain efficiencies, and manage our property contracts and
budget.Primary Accountabilities:Expense & Contract Management
- Reduce enterprise expenses through contract optimization,
negotiation strategies and by leveraging scale across all operating
companies
- Manage all property vendor relationships and monitor product
performance in accordance with defined service level
agreements
- Lead contract assessments, negotiation and execution
- Support annual budget creation by working with finance,
Enterprise Sourcing & Procurement and business owners
- Monitor monthly budget spends versus actuals and drive
understanding variance
- Manage invoice review and payment processStrategy &
Consultation
- Generate strategies including negotiation approach, mission
definition and a new product scorecard to ensure understanding of
financial impacts and possible risks of vendor consolidation
- Partner with business owners and sourcing and procurement to
review new vendor product opportunities and facilitate execution of
agreements
- Produce streamlined processes to gain efficiencies and generate
synergies across all lines of business and impacted functional
areas including the establishment of standardized enterprise
contract targets
- Collaborate with various functional areas and key stakeholders
across all levels to ensure understanding and alignment of key
vendor management aspects
- Become SME for all vendor, contract and products managedVendor
Oversight
- Build and maintain centralized vendor management repository
including enterprise vendor landscape
- Develop key performance indicator reports and communicate to
leadership teams and across operating companies
- Partner with Enterprise Sourcing & Procurement, Auto Center of
Excellence and legal to ensure documentation, processes and
procedures are maintainedThis position may be considered for a
