Ecosystems & Alliances Strategy is a growing focus area within Deloitte. We are seeking an experienced Manager to lead internal strategy projects that will have significant impact on our organization. This role includes direct interaction with Senior Partners and Firm Leadership. This role sits within Deloitte's Corporate Technology Strategy team and will provide exposure to a wide range of strategy projects, working across the firm's four businesses (i.e., Audit, Advisory, Consulting & Tax). Example projects include development of Ecosystems & Alliances (E&A) growth plays, business model analysis for joint solutions, strategic planning with existing/new partners, creating business unit-level alliance portfolio strategies, buy/build/partner assessments for specific domains (e.g., Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, 5G/Edge Computing), competitive analysis, and operating model design.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support development of actionable strategies to drive net new growth through Ecosystems and Alliances for key focus areas (e.g., specific markets, emerging technology domains, industries. Etc.)
• Conduct market and competitive analysis, synthesize findings, develop recommendations
• Analyze emerging technology trends, develop technology outlooks, synthesize implications
• Develop quantitative models for market sizing, business cases, scenario analysis
• Research and analyze emerging business and operating models; apply to address business problem under development and/or opportunities
• Manage and support complex strategy projects with multiple work streams
• Oversee primary research including developing research hypotheses, questionnaire design, interviewing subject matter expert, and synthesis of findings
• Develop strategy storyboards and adapt messaging to different stakeholder groups
• Work with key stakeholder groups to gain buy-in on summary analysis and recommendations
• Develop executive presentations for senior firm leadership
• Manage client relationships, engagement risks, project planning and budgeting
• Serve as performance manager and coach for junior staff
  Qualifications:
  
  • Experience in management consulting or corporate/business unit strategy function across several aspects of strategy (e.g., analyzing technology trends, business and operating model design, quantitative models to support business cases)
  • Track record of applying creative thinking to produce breakthrough strategies
  • Experience with storyboarding and messaging for different stakeholder groups
  • Experience with quantitative visualization tools
  • Track record of written communication and presentations to executives
  • Superior project management skills and experience managing a multi-disciplinary team
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
  • Ability to travel up to 0-25% on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
    Education (degree): Undergraduate degree in engineering, sciences, or business with analytical and quantitative focus; MBA from a top tier university preferred
    
    Years of Experience: At least 6-8 years' experience with a top-tier consulting firm in strategy, or managerial experience within corporate or business unit strategy function
    
    For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in Colorado or Nevada , Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. This compensation range is specific to the State of Colorado and the State of Nevada and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $115,030 to $211,850.
    
    You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
