Talent Director - Global Corporate Functions The primary purpose of this role is to develop, implement and manage the Talent Management strategy for Global Corporate Functions (Finance, IT, Legal, HR, Communications). Talent Management strategy comprises organizational design and effectiveness, performance management, learning and development, career planning, succession, leadership development, organizational capabilities, employee engagement, among others. This role will partner with the VP of Human Resources, Global Corporate Functions in designing a high-performance organization by providing thought leadership on Talent Management, global Human Resource strategy, and related tools and programs. This role will lead, manage and implement Global Corporate Functions' organizational development and capability processes to drive and maximize the human capital needed to execute the business strategy and function-specific goals. In addition, this role, leads the development, implementation, and execution of global / function talent development programs and initiatives that support critical talent segments identified through the organization's succession planning process. Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Provides thought partnership and guidance to the VP of HR on talent strategies to build organization capability, integrate Talent Management processes, engage the workforce, and operationalize diversity & inclusion strategy in support of business plans and functional goals
  • Serves as the Talent Management / Learning & Development COE liaison to the Global Corporate Functions HR team; Leads and coordinates Global Talent Management COE programs / processes (such as performance management and succession planning) for the Global Corporate Functions and develops and implements company/global Human Resource initiatives
  • Leads the development and implementation of the global talent strategy for the Global Corporate Functions related to performance management, succession planning, engagement, talent pipeline development, change management, organization design and development; Creates and executes global / functional talent development and leadership programs and initiatives that support critical talent segments identified through the organization's succession planning process:
  • Owns and drives succession and talent review process designed to build robust succession plans and pipeline for critical positions in the organization
  • Designs and implements engagement strategy, builds action plans, drives capability building to enhance our culture in support of strong engagement
  • Creates plans and strategies to maximize the value of (and continuously improve) performance management and career development processes
  • Leads/Partners with Human Resource colleagues within Global Corporate Functions, regional HR teams and COE on the development, implementation, and execution of global Talent Management initiatives and function-specific talent management initiatives; Works effectively through global, matrix environment; Leads and manages a team while influencing peers and members of the broader organization
  • Provides expertise, consults with leaders, and leads the creation and updating of functional competency frameworks, career path initiatives, and programs; Conducts development assessment for key talent within Global Corporate Functions and provides related coaching and consulting
  • Creates data dashboards and analyzes talent data to inform talent strategies for Global Corporate Functions; Develops KPIs and key metrics to ensure intended objectives of the developmental initiatives are achieved Requirements:
    • Bachelor's degree in Business/HR required. MBA, MS - Organizational Development, Organizational Behavior, Learning & Development, Human Resource Management or related field is preferred
    • A minimum of 10 years in the human resources field, at least 7 of which are in progressively more responsible positions in related talent management positions; Experience as an HR business partner is preferred
    • Certification in Coaching & tools for assessments, personal profile analysis
    • Experience in designing and implementing strategic talent management programs, and processes within a large, matrix-based organization. Experience working in a global environment
    • Demonstrated capability in strategic thinking, project management/planning, innovative thinking, and influential leadership
    • Strong interpersonal skills - Ability to influence and work with peers and others who are not under their direct line of command and positively contribute and impact business performance
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively translate/convey strategic concepts to key stakeholders using influential leadership and action planning
