Role Purpose

Serves as the data specialist for the Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) system and tools. Facilitates the creation and maintenance of category, technology and market roadmaps in PPM system. Updates PPM system with key New Product Development project metrics including gate path, key milestones/dates and decisions. Responsible for data integrity, regular auditing and reporting. Produces scorecards and reporting to support Innovation Practice Sr Manager to facilitate decision making in Stage-gate meetings and portfolio reviews for alignment of resources and prioritization of projects. Produces scorecards and reporting to project leaders and other key NPD team stakeholders. Assists Innovation Practice Sr. Manager with training of Enterprise users of PPM system and tools. Coordinates with GOJO IT staff support regarding technical issues.

Supports the Innovation and Stage-Gate process through coordination of Stage-Gate and Total Solution Venue (TSV) calendar, including scheduling the meetings, distributing of pre-read documents, as well as collecting, sharing and documenting pre-read questions and post-meeting notes.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

--- Supports PPM software and tools.

--- Assists Innovation Practice Sr. Manager with training of Enterprise users of PPM Software and tools

--- Produces scorecards and reporting for monthly resourcing reviews, quarterly portfolio reviews and monthly reports to project leaders and other team stakeholders.

--- Records any updates to projects/portfolio in PPM software after reviews.

--- Creates and maintains a method of data collection for input into the software.

--- Responsible for data integrity of inputs in the software and outputs in reporting.

--- Responsible for TSV calendar: Coordinates and schedules Stage-Gate and TSV reviews, as well as review prep meetings.

--- Distributes pre-read documents and collects, shares and documents pre-read questions, sends post-meeting notes.

--- Communicates across all levels of the Enterprise using oral, written and electronic communications.

--- Communicates reports to project resource stakeholders throughout the Enterprise.

--- May provide some administrative support to the Total Solution and Project Management (TSPM) team.
Education and Experience

--- BA, BS in Business or Marketing

--- 2-4 years of relevant business experience preferred

--- Prior Stage-Gate or New Product Development process experience preferred
Supervision/Coordination

--- Reports to Project Management Director.

--- Works closely with Innovation Practice Sr. Manager on the TSV calendar, PPM data collection, accuracy, reporting and training, and overall support of the Total Solutions Venue.

--- Communicates with all levels of the Enterprise who are Gatekeepers, Vital Resource leaders, Project Sponsors, Project Leaders or PPM software users.

--- Collaborates with GOJO IT resources and outside partners to troubleshoot technical issues and ensure PPM system effectiveness.

--- May provide administrative support to the Total Solution and Project Management Vice President, as well as the Total Solution Project Management (TSPM) team.

--- This position does not have any direct reports.
Travel Requirements

Travel between campus locations in Northeast Ohio as neededOvernight Travel - sporadic - required.
