The Manager of Procurement is responsible for managing and
overseeing procurement resources who manage complex purchasing
activity for assigned goods and services. This position ensures
objectives relating to quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness
are satisfied fully meeting department goals and supporting site
operations. The Manager of Procurement effectively manages
multi-faceted internal and external relationships including direct
reports to achieve objectives and is responsible for managing a
team of procurement professionals having a direct impact on site
financial and operational objectives and customer satisfaction.
This position ensures team execution of strategic and tactical
procurement objectives. Job Core Responsibilities
The Procurement Manager will have direct reports consisting of
Senior Buyers and Buyers and has managerial responsibility.
Direct the preparation of purchase requisitions and procurement
activities to assure delivery of quality products, on time, to
satisfy production requirements.
Monitor procurement procedures to comply with governmental and

Manage supplier cost, quality, and delivery driving resolution
within the site team and, where necessary, escalating for

Supporting the Procurement Director in meeting the Site's business
objectives (including daily attendance at site DLA s as required)
and supporting gap analysis & actions to support the MPS
deliverables for supply chain topics
Supervise day-to-day procurement and buyers for assigned
Manage supplier and supply base risk in line with site specific and

Education : Bachelors degree in a Technical field, Supply Chain,

Extensive experience and supervisory skills in the planning,

Knowledge of procurement best practices and experience with

Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and demonstrated
use of thought leadership to set and execute procurement
Experience negotiating license contracts with a track record of
success negotiating with a variety of suppliers.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and
verbal), with ability to drive tasks to completion.
Aerospace industry experiences a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and database management
