Solutions Engineer - Akron, Ohio
SUMMARY As a technical member of the Strategic Business Unit team,
this person is responsible for providing design consultation to our
strategic accounts with the goal of solving our customers
challenges, while strengthening and expanding additional market
penetration leveraging AirBorn---s Model to Market capabilities
including: connectors, cable and flex circuit assemblies, PCB
assemblies, and ultimately, the entire high level assembly and box
build. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

- Interfaces with customers (end users, engineers, program
managers and procurement staff) to scope application
- Leads solution development acting as a liaison for a
cross-functional team including AirBorn Engineering, Pricing, Sales
and Operations to propose and align suitability of solutions.
- Translates customer requirements into conceptual drawings.
- Analyzes cost factors required to meet customer specifications
and recommends pricing for product.
- Provides written documentation of specifications and proposals
during solution development.
- Delivers solution proposals to AirBorn executives and or
Product Approval Committee for review and approval.
- Guides design and fabrication of prototype, models, or

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Completion of a Bachelor---s degree in engineering from an
accredited college or university
- Five to seven years of electronics technical experience in the
electronics industry or equivalent combination of education and
