dependable and efficient in all we do. Job Summary The Electrical
Engineer applies knowledge of engineering principles and practices
for electrical systems throughout the company’s facilities as well
as supporting construction activities and the operation of existing
electrical systems. Makes decisions on engineering problems and
methods. Requires the use of techniques and the modification and
extension of theories, precepts, and practices of own field and
related sciences or disciplines, including practical field
experience. This position will occasionally visit company locations
to support design reviews, construction meetings, due diligence and
as needed for emergency responses. Key Accountabilities An
Electrical Engineer will perform most of these duties at an
intermediate level The Electrical Engineer is responsible for the
review and management of the electrical design of facilities
including but not limited to: Load Studies Instrument Data Sheets
One Line Diagrams Area Classification Drawings Cause and Effect
Matrix Cable Schedules Required to be proficient with Piping &
Instrument Diagrams (P&IDs) and participate in design reviews
including the Process Hazard Analysis. Assist with budget
management and schedules for multiple midstream projects, assist
other disciplines to achieve their goals and support management
where required. Participate in cost and schedule estimates, plan
work in alignment with project schedule, monitor and report
progress using ascribed system. Liaise and interact with other
disciplines to ensure overall project goals are met and advise
management of variations in a timely manner. Ensure all
deliverables are aligned with company and client procedures and
standards. Review and assess new technology, materials and
equipment. Frame engineering/operational problems and propose
solutions. Monitor and support engineering related activities
related to field construction projects. Must be able to make sound
engineering decisions under limited time constraints. Provide
technical support to field as needed. Prepare and present technical
reports on projects. Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 3 years of job-related
experience (Level II) Must possess and maintain a valid driver's
license and meet company-driving standards. Other Qualifications
Preferred: Gathering and transmission pipeline design and/or
pipeline integrity management experience preferred. Professional
Engineer registration is desired. Other Requirements: Intermediate
proficiency in computer applications applicable to specific work
field/discipline including Excel, Word, Viso and Access database.
Ability to interpret blueprints/drawings/schematics and other
design documents. Communicate effectively both orally and in
writing with people at all levels both within and outside the
company. Knowledge of industry codes and standards including
applicable Federal, State, and local regulations, laws, and codes,
ASME Piping Codes, National Electric Code, CFR 192, DOT, and PHMSA
rules and regulations. Physical Demands The physical demands

lift objects of up to 10 pounds in weight. Occasionally the
employee will have to lift/move objects of up to 25 pounds in
weight. Vision requirements for this position include close vision
and the ability to adjust focus. Working Conditions While
performing the duties of this job, the employee works both in a
business office setting and at a project site. In the course of
working at the project site, the employee is occasionally exposed
to outside weather conditions, including cold/hot, wet and/or humid
conditions, and may work near moving mechanical parts and/or
machinery. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or
airborne particles and vibration (see physical requirements above).
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to
moderate in the office but may become loud at the project site.
