Job Description:

What You Will Be Doing: Serve as the primary design lead for assigned engineering projects Manage and coordinate projects across multiple disciplines Act as the main point of contact with clients, owners, architects, vendors, and contractors Supervise, mentor, and provide design guidance to assigned support staff Coordinate project schedules, submissions, meetings, and deadlines Review scopes of work, codes, drawings, calculations, and specifications Prepare reports, RFIs, cost estimates, addenda, and construction documentation Attend site visits, construction meetings, and design coordination meetings Review submittals, shop drawings, substitutions, and close-out documents Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on time, and profitably Maintain company standards, documentation, and quality expectations Communicate project updates internally and externally Support Project Coordination duties when assigned (scheduling, documentation, tracking) Use AutoCAD/Revit to document and communicate engineering design intent Identify scope changes and communicate impacts to leadership Continuously improve processes, standards, and technical knowledge Experience You Will Need: College degree in Engineering or a related technical field Experience managing engineering or technical design projects Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams Experience supervising or mentoring junior/support staff Familiarity with construction processes, RFIs, submittals, and field coordination Experience working directly with clients and external stakeholders Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously Understanding of industry codes, standards, and design practices
