Job Summary: The Mechanic will complete all repairs, preventative maintenance, programmed repairs and facility repairs to be in compliance with equipment/ facility reliability and standards. Maintenance mechanic will report any foreseeable problems to the Shop Manager. Essential Job Accountabilities: General mechanical knowledge including pumps, hydraulics and electrical Basic welding knowledge and experience Good assembly skills Experience with preventative maintenance programs Basic intermediate computer skills Experience with work order execution Has own basic tools Experience with safety training Facility repair experience. Keep up with training and process needs, requirements. Problem solve and root case diagnosis Communicates well and works in clean orderly manner Diagnose and manage employees projects Schedule repairs and maintenance of equipment Other duties as assigned Work afternoon shift and overtime when available. Education: High school diploma or equivalent Trade education in industrial mechanics (preferred) Additional Requirements/Skills: Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with industrial mechanical repairs. Heavy truck repair experience. Must have Preventative Maintenance system experience. Possess own basic hand tools. Must be able to work in closed and open environments.
