Internship Summary: The Electrical Engineer Intern will assist in
the design, programming, and implementation of industrial control
systems for coil processing equipment. This position provides
exposure to real-world engineering challenges and opportunities to
work alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic manufacturing
environment. Duration: May 2026 – August 2026 Compensation: This is
a paid internship opportunity. Hours Expectations: Requested
average of 40 hours per week as needed Key Responsibilities:
Contribute to the design of electrical panels using AutoCAD
Electrical. Learn to interpret PCC ladder logic and perform
pre?term I/O checkout Participate in system testing,
troubleshooting, and commissioning activities. Ensure compliance
with NEC code and machine safety standards. Collaborate with
engineering teams on projects related to coil processing lines
(e.g., Cut-to-Length, Push-Pull Pickle Lines). Help with panel
build and assembly cables Qualifications: Currently pursuing a
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. Basic
knowledge of PLC and HMI programming (Allen Bradley preferred).
Familiarity with AC drive systems and low-voltage power
distribution. Experience or coursework in AutoCAD Electrical
design. Understanding of NEC code and machine safety principles.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Physical
Requirements: Able to sit, stand, bend, crouch, push/pull, and lift
up to 50 lbs. regularly. Must meet physical and safety requirements
