Job Description:
Lincoln Electric, a leader in the global welding and cutting
industry, is seeking a skilled PC Board Technician to join our
dynamic team in Cleveland, Ohio. This role is pivotal in
maintaining the operational efficiency of our manufacturing
processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for
troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining printed circuit boards
(PCBs) used in various welding and cutting equipment. This position
requires a blend of technical expertise, precision, and a keen eye
for detail, contributing directly to the quality and innovation
Lincoln Electric is known for. Diagnose and repair faults in PCBs
and other electronic assemblies. Perform component-level
troubleshooting and soldering. Test PCBs for functionality and
ensure compliance with quality standards. Read and interpret
schematic and assembly drawings. Collaborate with engineering and
technical teams to identify and resolve production issues. Maintain
accurate records of all maintenance and repair work. Update job
knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading
technical publications. Proficient in soldering and de-soldering
electronic components. Strong understanding of electronic circuitry
and diagrams. Ability to use a variety of diagnostic tools and
equipment. Experience in using PCB design software (e.g., Altium
Designer, Eagle). Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
IPC-A-610 Certification (Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies) is
preferred. Certification in Electronic Technician Association (ETA)
is a plus.
