Job Description:

*Salary based on experience*

Project Engineer 1 Municipal: 5 years experience with PE License- 80,000-100,000.

Project Engineer 4 Municipal: 10 years experience with PE License- 120,000-140,000.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
A minimum of 5 years of experience in civil engineering
Active Professional Engineer (PE) License
Proficiency in computer-based design tools, including AutoCAD, GIS, and REVIT
Comprehensive understanding of permitting and funding agency requirement
Advanced written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional problem-solving abilities
Strong time management skills
Self-motivated with a strong desire for career growth
Valid driver's license and access to a registered insured vehicle

Roles and Responsibilities:

Ensuring the completeness and accuracy of design efforts
Providing guidance to project staff, which may include engineers, drafters, designers, field staff, and administrative support, to establish and achieve project goals
Offering technical expertise to determine design solutions, define project direction, and review results for accuracy and client satisfaction
Complying with regulatory and permitting requirements
Preparing various project documents, including reports, proposals, estimates, bid documents, and permit applications
Contributing to project proposals by providing a clear understanding of project requirements and approaches
Maintaining project schedules and budgets, and effectively communicating potential budget, scope, or schedule adjustments to the Project Manager
Developing and executing strategies to identify and secure repeat business from Core, development, and private clients, while honing business development and selling skills
Serving as the primary client relationship manager for a select group of clients, ensuring their needs are met
