Repair and replace damaged or worn parts. Test mechanical equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance Operate and inspect machines or equipment to diagnose defects. Dismantle and reassemble equipment using proper tools. Record details of repairs made, and parts used Knowledge: Mechanical - Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. Transportation - Knowledge of principles and methods for moving equipment or goods Skills: Repairing - Repairing machines or systems using the needed tools. Troubleshooting - Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it. Operation and Control - Controlling operations of equipment or systems. Equipment Maintenance - Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Operation Monitoring - Watching gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly.
